Molly Grew

Molly is a final-year PhD candidate in coastal and marine science at the University of Newcastle. Her research focuses on the ecology and behaviour of stingrays in estuaries. The aim of her research is to understand how habitat modification may change how stingrays interact with their environment, such as their habitat use, movement, prey preferences and diet, and how important stingrays are to ecosystem services within their estuary. To do this she conducts a lot of fieldwork involving drones, cameras and catching stingrays in estuaries. Molly is currently living her dream of being a marine scientist.
